Mobile Phone App

If you are looking for the Mobile Phone application that works with all smart phones for you station, look no further.

NOTE: This is a HTML / PHP / JavaScript program that you embed into your radio station HTML website. It is NOT an APP that installs on a mobile phone. This makes it much more flexible, as all visitors can use any smart phone to listen to your radio station.

No need to have them buy a special application on their phone just to tune in.  With this application, any of the above phones can hear your station with the same program.

Questions & Answers:

Q: Will it work on all phones ?

A: It's been tested and works on all iPhone 3 and iPhone 4, Blackberry.  It works on about 95% of Android phones, depending on model.

BLACKBERRY can NOT play AAC or AAC+ streams, only MP3.

Q: How much is it ?

A: We charge $2 per month to use the application.  A small price to pay considering how much your listeners would have to pay to get a similar app on their phone.

Q: It doesn't work on my BLACKBERRY

A: If your stream is an AAC or AAC+ stream, BLACKBERRY phones can not play them.  If you switch to a regular mp3 stream, it will work.

Q: How long does it take to order.

A: It will take 24 - 48 hours for us to configure it to your station.  Please don't e-mail us and tell us it's an emergency and you need it in 10 minutes.  Good things take time.

Q: I don't use you as my Stream Host.  Can I still use it ?

A: Yes, we are making this available to ALL broadcasters no matter who you use as your Stream Host.  All we need is the IP address and Port # of your stream.  If you decide to get Stream Hosting with us later down the road, we will give you a discount.  But, no strings attached.  Use your own Host or use us.

Q: Will you put my Station Name on the player.

A: Yes, we will

Q: How is the sound quality ?

A: It will sound exactly the same as if they purchased an app from Apple (or Blackberry, or Android).

Q: Can I change the colors ?

A: Yes, you may select Blue, Yellow or Black when ordering.

Q: So what is my cost ?

A: If you we are your Stream Host, the cost is $ 2 per month.  If you use your own Stream Host, the cost is $2 per month plus a one-time set-up fee.

Q: What if I am unhappy with your application, as it doesn't work for my listeners. 

A: If you are not satisfied after 1 week of testing, we will refund your money.

Q: A link to your website appears on the bottom of the player.  I don't want that.

A: Sorry, all players come with that.  We are planning to let customers customize the player with their own logs, links, special colors.  As of now, it isn't ready yet.
