We have a bunch of broadcasters requesting a SSL address (https://) for SHOUTcast.  This is because of the new Google requirement that all websites must have a SSL certivicate.

SHOUTcast does not (at present) allow the use of SSL.  ICEcast does, but the implementation is fairly complicated.

We are working on a solution to this issue.  It will allow you to have a SSL (https://) link for your Version 2 SHOUTcast stream.  The buauty of this is if you change Stream Hosts (we hope not) that the SSL special site will work for any Host.  You just need to update the IP / Port Number.  So this means if you are listed on TuneIN / iTunes / etc. you no longer have to update the listen link.  Just give them the https:// link and it will automatically redirect to the new IP / Port #.
